Abstract :
A planar two-element diversity antenna is proposed for wireless local area networks (WLAN) at 2.4 and 5 GHz operations. The proposed antenna consists of two branches. Each branch has dual-band ring monopole. Three slots at the ground are used to enhancing isolation characteristic between two monopoles. Prototype is constructed and tested. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated ones.
