Abstract
In this paper, a heuristic fuzzy reasoning based algorithm is applied to the multipurpose reconfiguration of medium voltage distribution systems. Five objectives of loss reduction, load balancing, voltage profile improvement, with least service interruption and minimum switching actions have been considered simultaneously. By the proposed method, the main two objectives are first optimized individually and all configurations obtained are stored. Afterwards five performance indices are considered for mentioned goals and by using fuzzy reasoning approach the best configuration is selected among all saved forms. The proposed method is applied for reconfiguration of some test networks and a part of Iran´s Isfahan medium voltage network
