Abstract
Among various space-time codec schemes, the capacity provided by V-BLAST is very close to the channel capacity and its structure is relatively simple, therefore it is included by some standards. However, there is little research on the blind symbol detection without knowing the CSI and blind channel identification. By introducing some redundancy, a new V-BLAST scheme is proposed in this paper so that both the original transmitted symbol can be detected and the channel can be identified via an ESPRIT-like method. Furthermore, this scheme can also eliminate the constraint that the number of receive antennas is more than transmit ones. Computer simulations evaluate the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
