Abstract
Echo cancellation research using digital signal processing (DSP) has been conducted for some time now. This paper presents some techniques for dealing with echoes where the delay time can range from very short, few milliseconds, to very long, on the order of hundreds of milliseconds. The algorithm developed and investigated as part of the research presented in this paper has also been designed for real-time implementation on Texas Instruments TMS320C3X family of floating-point DSP chips
