Abstract :
This paper identifies green technologies and innovative applications as two driving forces behind the development of information and communication technology (ICT) services from the viewpoints of a telecom service provider. As fast development of smart applications, we observe a strong demand of requesting broadband connectivity and green from users. In this paper, we will point out several key issues based on these demands, and finally identify potential opportunities and challenges for semiconductor industries.
