Abstract
A radial four-way power divider based on half-mode SIW structure is proposed in this paper. The power divider is mainly realized by a radial half-mode SIW with improved center feeding. Four microstrip lines are used as output ports. In the design of power dividers, one of the most important things is impedance match. In case for coaxial line to radial waveguide, a popular way to achieve good impedance match is to adjust the height of current probe, however, this is difficulty when facing a thin substrate. To solve this problem, we employ a ring slot besides the probe, and successfully achieve good impedance match. In this paper, we will discuss the transition between coaxial line and radial waveguide and then propose a design of a well performed power divider based on our impedance match method.
