Abstract :
A multiple cell direct-sequence code-division multiple access (DS-CDMA) cellular radio system is evaluated. Approximate expressions are obtained for the bit error probability of both the forward and reverse channels. Two differently coherent receivers, a multipath rejection receiver and a RAKE receiver with selective combining are considered. Forward and reverse channel power control are discussed
