Abstract
As pattern oriented approaches have been more and more widely accepted, several epigone activities following PLoP USA have occurred in various places, and jPLoP is one which is now under establishment in Japan. In this paper, the Japanese counterpart of PLoP USA, named jPLoP is introduced as one of the technology transfer activities and some technological issues jPLoP must overcome are mentioned
