Abstract
The paper presents a framework for representing sinusoidal and harmonic components by means of linear prediction. In order to improve estimation accuracy parametric representation of the signal is used instead of its waveform. The main target application of the proposed technique is accurate estimation of spectral envelopes in hybrid (stochastic/deterministic) speech processing.
