Abstract
The solar power satellite (SPS) will serve as an important energy source in the future and many models have been investigated around the world. Microwave power transmission (MPT) is one of the most important technologies of a SPS system. A large power generation and transmission panel is often considered with emphasis in MPT research. Active integrated antenna (AIA) can be employed to construct such a panel with great advantages. Microwave power combination in open space is important to the MPT system and should be optimized. A 35GHz AIA array is presented for the demonstration experiment.
