Abstract :
A wideband communications system for indoor cellular applications is proposed that is based on an accessing scheme called code time division multiple access (CTDMA). It combines some of the most important advantages of code-division multiple access (CDMA) and time-division multiple access (TDMA): a constant-envelope transmitted signal, a perfect separation of the users in one cell and a cluster size of one. Simulation results of such a system offering an information data rate of 144 kb/s, applying frequency division duplex and occupying a total bandwidth of 2×20 MHz are presented
