  • Abstract
The simulation based on the finite element method (FEM) about the sensitivity distribution of 12-electrode capacitance transducer for oil and water two-phase flow system is presented after introduction to the principle of electrical capacitance tomography (ECT). The optimal function is brought forward based on sensitivity distribution that plays an important role in image reconstruction. The influence that the structural parameters of transducer impose on the performance of ECT is studied and the parameter optimization is achieved by using orthogonal test design method combined with FEM
