Abstract :
A fuzzy synthetic decision used to optimize a criterion of three-phase autoreclosing is put forward in this paper. The successful rate of reclosing is obviously improved by using the new criterion. A classical model with two inputs and one output is used by the fuzzy controller and the hardware consists of an STD industrial control microcomputer system. The analysis and test results show that the new criterion can be widely applied in protection relaying with reclosing, especially digital relaying, of power systems
