Abstract :
We propose an interference resilient transmission scheme for multiband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MB-OFDM) system in ultra wideband (UWB) channels. In our proposed scheme, the interleaver is combined with the OFDM symbol repeater to reduce the effect of cochannels interference (CCI) from single simultaneously operating piconet (SOP). When a collision occurs, the interferences is mitigated by increasing the effective coding rate through the use of interleaver and by reducing a symbol collision probability through the use of symbol repeater. Our simulation results demonstrate the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the CCI from a single SOP.
