Abstract :
This paper proposes a new class of second order polynomial Nyquist window functions for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system. The function is used for reducing the frequency offset induced by inter-carrier interference (ICI) at the receiver. Also, we give a method to select the window parameters to maximize the receiver SINR. The receiver with the proposed second order polynomial window is shown to have better performances of the average SINR and BER in slow fading channels, compared to the raised cosine window and "better than" Nyquist window.
