Abstract
Further development is presented for the novel technique introduced by M.A. Terada (see Proc. IEEE Int. Symp. Antennas and Propag., p.770-3, 2003) for beam scanning with circularly polarized reflector antennas. A thorough investigation was conducted into finding a good compromise between the squint angle and the loss that was incurred for the geometry given by Terada. Furthermore, it is investigated whether the technique is suitable for multiple feeds in multibeam applications.
