Abstract :
Geoprocessing workflows have been commonly used in geospatial data analysis and Cyberinfrastructure. A geoprocessing workflow can be constructed manually using tools. Some application tools, such as Kepler, Oracle BPEL designer, and ArcGIS ModelBuilder, have been available. However, existing tools are either non-geospatial-oriented or platform/language-dependent. This paper presents a geoprocessing workflow modeling tool, named GeoJModelBuilder. The tool is written in Java and supports cross-platform. Geoprocessing services, NASA World Wind and Sensor Web are integrated into the GeoJModelBuilder for more complex applications. The main goal of GeoJModelBuilder is to bring an easy-to-use tool to the geoscientific community.
