Abstract :
We present experiments, which have been carried out with the general goal of temporally resolving the entire COD process. These ´monitoring-approaches´ involve the use of a thermocamera, which unambiguously identifies the presence of the thermal runaway by a ´thermal flash´ of Planck´s radiation. Additionally, this allows the detection of internal COD events not leading to facet alterations.
