Abstract
Summary form only given. It is known that the "Herouni" mirror radiooptical telescope\´s double reflector spherical antenna of the Radiophysical Measurements Institute (RMI, Yerevan) placed on the mountain Aragats, Armenia has quite a high gain factor. For example, at 2 mm wavelength the gain of the antenna is equal to 1,000,000,000. It is also known that the antenna field amplitude and phase distributions along the axis of the main spherical reflector are regular. It is proposed to increase the antenna\´s effective area and antenna gain factor by a supplementary linear feed along the axis of the main spherical reflector below the antenna focal spot. Several supplementary linear feeds were considered and a not-in-phase space-tapered slotted-waveguide antenna was chosen
