Abstract
This paper discussed the cause of flat-earth effect in InSAR system, and methods of removing the flat-earth effect were described: one method based on DEM, one based on frequency and an approximative method. The three methods were respectively applied to airborne InSAR system with either single baseline or multi baselines. The result shows that the two approaches based on DEM and the approximative method are suitable for airborne systems, while the other approach based on frequency is not fit for airborne systems. The first and the last methods would get satisfactory results.
