Abstract
A three-phase four-wire boost converter can be used not only as a rectifier but also to compensate supply voltage disturbances and current harmonics. In the paper, with reference to a case-study industrial electrical subsystem, the multifunctional capability of the boost rectifier is analysed. The presentation of the mathematical model of the system is followed by the controller design and the converter sizing analysis. Finally, simulation results are presented and discussed
