Abstract
This paper describes an application-specific hybrid IC utilizing a new high-voltage BCD process that integrates control and protection functions with a half-bridge driver on a single chip. This IC is embodied with two MOSFETs in a single-in-line power package used for control and power switching in a current resonant half-bridge converter. The features of the high-voltage BCD structure are discussed, together with significant aspects of the application that influence the design
