Abstract
We performed a new study of acetaldehyde spectrum in a broad frequency range from 0.05 to 1.6 THz. In the framework of the rho axis method a fit within experimental error was obtained for the rotational transitions with J≤66 and Ka≤22 of the vt = 0,1,2 states of acetaldehyde. Our results give an opportunity to produce reliable predictions of the acetaldehyde spectrum in the working frequency range of Herschel and ALMA missions.
