Abstract :
Modeling of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the microwave dielectric materials processing is an actual problem of modern microwave technology. In this paper, the numerical model of the microwave processing (drying) of the dielectric (eg, stacks of industrial wood, sawn timber etc) in the batch mode microwave dryers with ray type unlimited chamber (or with traveling wave chamber), is discussed. Earlier, a similar model has been proposed on the basis of the phenomenological approach. However, the model describes only the kinetics of the drying process.
