Abstract :
The on-orbit antenna system performance under worst-case thermal distortion is analyzed. The parameters under consideration are beam shift, peak gain, and edge of coverage (EOC) gain degradation for co-aligned multiple beams on separate receive and transit antennas. The analytical method and a method to minimize the thermal distortion effects are presented.<>
