Abstract
Engineering education is difficult in an international program with all courses in English language, for foreign students with no English as first language or official language in their countries, in a host country with a third language. In our research we want to know if the levels of inventiveness of those students are not significantly different than the rest of the students and not a factor for low academic performance. For our initial study, in this paper we present the final results of a course in this type of program, in a university in Japan.
