Abstract
In this paper, the authors discuss the performances assessment of adjustable speed drive (ASD) with induction motor in presence of low frequency conducted electromagnetic disturbances. In particular non sinusoidal conditions due to unbalanced condition and interharmonic pollution are accounted. The testing procedure for the supplied induction motor characterization under static working conditions is discussed and a suitable measurement station is utilized paying particularly attention to the accuracy and uncertainty that are related with the procedure. It is based on standard instruments for ASD static tests and performance analysis and it is compatible with the use of real-time instruments so that it is possible to carry out dynamic tests. The paper concludes presenting some of the preliminary results obtained on a low power device
