Abstract
The paper describes the use of transmission line matrix (TLM) modelling to predict the performance of screened rooms partially lined with ferrite tiles. The results of predictions are presented and compared with measurements made in the predicted environments, starting with small antennas then including the effect of a larger biconical antenna. The results show that it is possible to predict the effect of lining a screened enclosure with different quantities of ferrite tiles and hence to design low cost, pre-compliance test environments using partial lining techniques
