  • Abstract
This paper presents a fuzzy control theory combinite with multi-state linear feedback method design a controller for the STATCOM. This controller can adapt the power system parameters changing, and identify the main objectives for power system in different operating states, in order to take proper control method, make full use of STATCOM control effect. The specific implementation approach is adapting multi-state linear feedback, use fuzzy identifier to change its amplification factor, ultimately achieve the purpose for changing the control discipline. By analyze STATCOM in the system transient failures during the course of regulation for power systems, with matlab simulation results to demonstrate its powerful features.
