Abstract
This paper presents the use of a mode-stirred chamber (MSC) for electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) measurement. The distribution of the field inside the chamber is shown as well as the achievable degree of field homogeneity. The results of the susceptibility measurement by different approaches are compared. The approaches of testing include the mode-tuned and the mode-stirred operation of the MSC and measurements in an anechoic chamber as a reference. A comparison of the results demonstrates a correlation between these approaches
