Abstract :
The different aspects of a protocol of MRI and nuclear medicine multimodality imaging in cardiology are presented. The aim of this work is to allow a better confrontation of these complementary informations for enhancing the clinical diagnosis. This work uses an external marking system, which is constituted by a stereotactic device. The plastic tubes in this device are filled with radioactive solution or CuSO4. Images alignment is achieved automatically with the different steps we describe. Validation of this protocol on phantom leads to 2 mm and 2° precision in the alignment process
