Abstract :
Experience in the validation of both low-frequency (NEC) and high-frequency (GTD) computer codes, used for modeling complex objects is discussed. The role of computer graphics in making visible the output of algorithms and the results of computations is emphasized. Comparisons with experimental radiation-pattern results highlight the need for these when models must produce results that will be used for operational analysis over an extensive frequency range. Special problems of model optimization are addressed.<>
