Abstract
This paper is devoted to the modelling of the streamer using an equivalent electrical network. Each branch of the streamer is assumed to a cylindrical channel represented by an RC cell (R and C are respectively the resistance and the capacitance associated to each branch). By introducing different values of R and velocity, we determine the shape and amplitude of the streamer current and the electrical charge for a given voltage. Then, by identifying these simulated characteristics to that ones obtained experimentally for a given streamer, we deduce the resistance and then the conductivity σ. We also discuss the mechanisms which could intervene in the propagation of the streamer according to the σ values
