Abstract
Before programming a dual-chamber pacemaker (PM), the physician must take into account the patient´s (pt) clinical profile. Such software is now included in the PM programmer software, supported by a PC computer. It allows direct programming of the PM. This software is now under clinical evaluation. Ninety-four pts were enrolled in the study: 40 women, 54 men (71+or-9 years old, 20-91). EP pathologies at implant were: 61 atrioventricular blocks (65%), 33 sinoatrial blocks (35%). At the end of the 1.2+or-1.7 months follow-up 85.1% of programming proposals have been accepted.
