Abstract
The translation of the current-voltage (I–V) curves of solar cells and modules by the linear interpolation method are investigated. Experimental I-V curves measured both indoors and outdoors are considered. The translation of the I–V curves by the linear interpolation method results in very good agreement with the experiment within 1% in wide ranges of G and T. The calculation only uses a minimum of two experimental I–V curves, and does not require any fitting parameters, temperature coefficients and the value of series resistance etc. Procedures of the translation calculation, where the I–V curves are translated simultaneously for G and T is presented.
