Abstract :
A low-voltage CMOS instrumentation amplifier for piezoresistive transducer is proposed. An input current sensing configuration is used to allow the use of a single piezoresistor and low voltage operation. The amplifier is realized using a 0.35-mum CMOS technology and operates under a single 1.5 power supply voltage. Simulation results showed that the amplifier can achieve the maximum CMRR of 139 dB while dissipating 489 muW.
