Abstract
A layered-structure leaky Lamb wave (LLW) interdigital transducer (IDT) under various liquid-loaded conditions is described analytically and experimentally. The LLW transducer, composed of a piezoelectric ceramic and a glass plate, is used for evaluating liquid properties. An equivalent circuit model analysis is carried out to investigate the transducer performance under liquid-loaded conditions. The values of electromechanical coupling coefficient obtained by solving the wave equation are consistent with the values derived from the equivalent circuit model
