Abstract :
More and more video users now enjoy the sense of a "special seat" given by modern video devices thanks to the development of broadcast technology and digital technology. There are also increasing opportunities for users to view video presentations in the work environment. When different types of video equipment are used, however, their technical characteristics affect how the content is displayed; it is not uncommon for viewers of the presentations under different media to be left with differing impressions. This research is intended to point out directions for development of systems which will provide viewers with the same sensory impressions of any given video production, regardless of the mode of viewing. The present report focuses on 2 projectors of differing types. The projectors were adjusted to minimize differences in color reproduction; the investigation examined sensory assessments of the perceived differences between the display modalities.
