Abstract
Complex vibration systems and especially one-dimensional longitudinal-torsional vibration converters are useful for various high power applications. For increasing the available vibration velocity of the converter, a new type converter with multiple slitted parts is installed in multiple positions avoiding nodal positions along the converter to decrease the maximum vibration stress level at the vibration node part. The converter with multiple slitted parts is improved in the stress level and in quality factor, and the maximum vibration amplitude is increased significantly at the same driving voltage
