Abstract
The generally known positive effects of ultrasounds on the melted alloys led to carrying on the performed research also on special Fe-Ni-Invar alloys. This work presents the procedures we used and the results we obtained on improving the properties on this type of alloys. The research focused on of the sonotrode type, frequency and acoustic power used, on the optimal temperature of the mould during the ultrasonation process as well as ultrasonic duration
