Welcome from the technical program chairs

On behalf of the International Technical Program Committees, we are delighted to present the program of the 2009 11th IEEE International Conference on e-Health Networking, Application and Services (IEEE Healthcom 2009) and welcome you to Sydney, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. IEEE Healthcom conferences have been successfully held yearly since its inaugural conference in Sydney, Australia in 1999. Subsequent Healthcom conferences have been held in Sydney in 2000, L´Aquila, Italy in 2001, Nancy, France in 2002, Santa Monica, USA in 2003, Odawara, Japan in 2004, Busan, Korea in 2005, New Delhi, India in 2006, Taipei, Taiwan in 2007, and Singapore in 2008. IEEE Healthcom 2009 will once again be held in Sydney, Australia, its original birthplace. It receives technical sponsorship from the IEEE Communications Society and by the IEEE NSW Australia section.
