Abstract
In rehabilitation medicine, it is necessary for medical staff members to recommend the suitable computer input device for each patient with spinal cord injury. This paper describe the evaluation system of computer input ability and the measurement results of a patient using four kinds of computer input device. First, we propose the device parameter to characterize the computer input device. It may be useful for the medical staffs when they recommend the computer input device for patients. Next, we calculate the eight normalized parameters and represent on the radar plot. Using the radar plot, the medical staffs can evaluate the patient´s computer input ability and understand the characteristics of the patient´s computer operation. Moreover it is useful for the design of the new computer input device for each patient
