Abstract :
This paper presents a practical prototype of a new conceptual electromagnetic induction-based fluid heating appliance using a voltage source type series capacitor-compensated load resonant high-frequency inverter with a phase-shifted PWM scheme. The feasible system implementation of electromagnetic induction-based appliance liquid or gas heating appliance is described from a practical point of view, along with its operating principle in steady-state and remarkable features.
