Abstract :
Many researchers and designers from the private and government sectors have been paying much attention to the issues, policies, challenges and opportunities of bringing healthcare services to patients´ homes. Some believe that this would not only ease the workload of the health care practitioners but also reduce the cost of health care treatments. Many topics surround the older adults but few focus on current working adults, who may be the users of the future e-health systems and policies. Compared to older adults, the younger working adults are more tech-savvy and hence more likely to adopt and afford technology-mediated health services. This paper discusses the view points of working adults concerning the adoption of e-health as well as addresses issues concerning innovation and acceptance in their future homes.
