Abstract :
This Paper presents the development of a light craft powered by a 1.3 KW methanol engine and controlled by a Cygnal 8051F020 microcontroller. The design of the light craft has a simple mechanical structure with easy control features. Fuzzy logic is incorporated in the control system to realize the intelligent control. The main characteristics of the craft are discussed in the paper. In addition to the functionality, flight modes, mechanical and control aspects, it also discusses the development of the control system based on a pair of microcontrollers.
