Alarm verification is not a new subject, but it is one that is gaining prominence as the issue of false alarms continues to cause headaches all round. Whilst alarm verification is a familiar term to most people involved in the UK security industry, the technology is yet to be widely used in this country. Verification of alarms can be gained using a number of different techniques, but all with the same purpose-to ensure that false alarms being fed to the police are reduced
