Abstract :
Based on the genetic algorithm (GA), a model of CNC lathe integrated scheme innovation design system is researched and presented. In this paper, particular emphasis is placed on the fact that CNC lathe systems generally have hierarchical structures. Via treating the integrated scheme designs as the solution to design spaces, a new hierarchical genotype representation is developed with the genetic algorithm. To adapt to this kind of representation, the genetic operations including crossover operation and mutation operation, i.e., are newly constructed. Utilizing the reproduction, crossover and mutation i.e. to iterate, a set of optimized design scheme is built automatically. This system is effective, exact and applied after being demonstrated by the CNC lathe integrated scheme design example.
