Abstract
This paper presents a novel digital oscillator circuit for electromechanical resonant sensors. The circuit is based on the closed-loop system with synchronous pulse driving. The oscillation amplitude is stabilized by a sigma-delta controller. The described circuit is usable for most of resonant sensors, MEMS including. The circuit has very good dynamic properties therefore is very suitable for fast sensors.
