Abstract
The simulation model of microturbine generation system has been developed according to the dynamic feature of microturbine. Adopted predictive control theory to control the DC capacitor voltage of the generation system. The response of predictive controller at the load disturbance has been compared to that of traditional PI controller. The simulation results show that the predictive controller has better performance when the load varies at a wide range. The purpose is to benefit further study of thermodynamic and electrical control of the microturbine generation system.
