Abstract :
To integrate the antenna with the wireless device is one of the goals of antenna design. In order to achieve this goal, the antenna must be flexible in size, efficient and easy to make. The C-patch antenna is one of the antennas that can meet these requirements. Especially, the high efficiency for a reduced size C-patch antenna is one of the most attractive characteristics. In previous studies, it was found that the ground plane has significant effect on the operation of rectangular and circular C-patch antenna. A proper ground structure can significantly increase the radiation efficiency of a C-patch antenna. A bent C-patch antenna can provided dual polarization characteristics. The effected of ground plane to the bent C-patch antenna is presented in this paper.
